The Queen of Brussels Sprouts

A wise Titus 2 friend once shared that I had to pray for my husband, for God to give him wisdom in his choices, and to let my husband make those choices without nagging and fretting over consequences. That came at a time where I wasn't so sure about a finincial choice "we" were making. But, I listened to her wisdom. It took 2.5 years for the fruits of that single decision to show...but they have now in ways I can never begin to describe. The choice itself wasn't the one I would have made. However, the lessons we learned AFTER the choice was made are life long lessons, and I am thankful for them.

Thanks for sharing this with us! It was a good reminder.

Yes, a very good reminder, especially numbers 1 and 2 for me, personally. I also appreciate what 'the queen of brussels sprouts' explained about a choice they made, but it taking 25 years for the fruits of that single decision to show. It reminded me that it's not our timing or plan, but Gods.
